Basic Digital Video Troubleshooting Tips

 

If you are experiencing problems with your Digital Video service, follow these steps:

 

  1. Verify that the television has power and is turned on.

  2. Verify that the set top box has power and is turned on.

  3. Turn the set top box off.

  4. Turn the DSL modem off.

  5. Turn the DSL modem back on and wait for link lights to come back on.

  6. Turn the set top box back on (only after the link lights on the DSL modem are on).

  7. Check all cables to the DSL modem and set top box to make sure they are connected
